Sphynx Cats are real clowns, and will entertain with their silly antics, they love their humans and enjoy the company of other cat and dogs. Company is what they love, a lonely Sphynx would be a very sad Sphynx.
They will follow you around while you do the housework, or while you are washing up,they will often jump on your shoulder to get a better view of what you are doing.
They are often described as part dog, part monkey,and part alien, the reason being they are as cheeky and agile as a monkey, faithful as a dog, and they do resemble something from another planet. For sure they are an amazing cat.
They are truly housecats and must never be allowed outside, unless on a harness, they would not survive outdoors as there are far too many dangers.
Some people with cat allergies can tolerate living with Sphynx cats, but that would depend on the type of the individual's allergic reactions.
